Willem emigrated a few years later also to Kalamazoo.

According to the passenger list of the SS Potsdam, the passage for Willem and Maatje was paid by their son Cornelis, who gave his address as: Box 537, Kalamazoo, Michigan. The passage for the three children, Adriana, Pieternella and Jozina was paid by a brother, presumably Elias. So it seems that Cornelis and Elias emigrated before their parents. The passengers list states that an amount of $ 46, was paid.
